Booker Gatto's funny sarcastic attitude has soured. Frustrated, he leaves the MET for a simpler life. His disaster of a love life has soured him on women also, and he's refrained from having  serious romantic relationship for way too long. His love and loyalty to his family is the only thing keeping him going.
Tess Selleck has the world by the tail. She's smart, a go-getter, and works hard at whatever she does. Then she meets Garen, an ambitious guy who dreams of becoming a political super star at any cost, including destroying Tess. Forced into hiding, she leaves her beloved sunny beeches in San Diego and moves to the snowy Port Fare.
Can Tess and Booker move on from the past and find love with each other. Is there a happily ever after for these scarred lovers, or is the thought of loving and trusting someone too Unbearable.Thank you all so much for your patience! I'm really excited for this book and hope you enjoy it!

Cassie's Cowboy Crave!

It's official - my new western romance novel is now on digital shelves!
Amazon links as follows (Kindle $3.99 Paperback $9.89)

Cassie's Cowboy Crave is about a handsome cowboy from Montana, an adorable editor from Seattle, and a witness protection program that has them posing as husband and wife.

Twenty-four-year-old Cassie Lovell has a great job, good friends, and an apartment with a killer view. That is, until life is turned upside down. Without the chance to say goodbye, Cassie is forced into a witness protection program on Emerson Ranch. Just when she fears life is doomed, Cassie meets Shane Emerson, the stunningly handsome cowboy who’ll be posing as her newlywed groom.

Shane Emerson is determined not to fall for the woman he’s agreed to harbor. Especially since the whole thing was his family’s way of trying to get him hitched. So why is it when he takes Cassie into his home, Shane wants nothing more than to turn their make-believe marriage into more than just a sham?

In a moment of weakness, Shane steals a kiss.
In return, Cassie steals his heart.
Yet before they confess their undying love,
a hidden danger threatens to tear them apart.

Romance that's clean without losing the steam.
When Evie falls in love with Calvin Knight, their young, virtuous romance conjures a truly wicked spell.
Evie always thought her eighteenth year would be magical, but so far it's not what she hoped for. Her best friend has gone wild, her love life is void, and she misses her mom more than ever. But life for Evie is about to change. Calvin Knight, the object of her fascination, is about to fall madly in love with her. Just one problem: Their love conjures a murderous woman from beyond the grave who wants Evie dead. The same demon who has haunted the Knight men for over four generations. Soon Calvin is forced to make a choice: Set Evie free and hope to evade the wrath of The Raven- haired Ghost, or use his newly gifted strengths to fight against her. If he chooses to fight and wins, Calvin will free the Knight men of this demonic witch. If he loses, Evie will become her next victim.

Book Reviews for Evie's Knight

I've had a few wonderful book blogging gals review Evie's Knight and I wanted to give them a shout out from here at my place.

Below are links to each one of the reviews. Be sure to go and show these lovely ladies some blogger-love! Who knows, if you're a writer, they could be reviewing your book sometime soon!

The latest review is from Bookmark to Blog (Don't you just love that name? I do!)
Here's just a bit of she had to say about Evie's Knight:

"This story has got it all - romance, suspense, family loyalty, and a fantasy world... It's captivating and a book that I couldn't wait to pick up and read each night. I highly recommend it!"

Wonderful, right?
Thank you, Kimberly @ Bookmark to Blog!

Now the very first review I received was from Jennifer at The Book Twins. Jennifer was so wonderfully willing to read and review Evie's Knight, and I remember really crossing my fingers that liked it. Luckily, she did.
Here's some of what she had to say about Evie's Knight:

"It was such a fresh take on the urban fantasy genre. There was so much to love about the story of Evie and her Knight, Calvin. We have falling in love for the first time, heartbreak, revenge, family, loyalty, happiness and the satisfaction of their story coming to the place where it was meant to be.
... I didn't feel like I had just read one book. I felt like I had just been on an incredible journey for so long and enjoyed every moment of it."

Yeah, that review felt pretty amazing!
Thanks Jennifer!

So the last review is from the adorable Elodie, at Once Upon a Quote.  And here's a bit of what Elodie had to say:

"...if you're looking for a book with a great romance, awesome characters, a curse and even some magic : pick up a copy of Evie's Knight my friends."

Well, that's all for our little book blogging tour. And whether you're a writer or a reader (or both, like me), you should definitely check out and follow these awesome book blogs!

Have an awesome blog you'd like to tell us about? Or some review links to your own book? Leave a comment below and we'll check 'em out! Happy November, everybody!

In Evie's Knight, love doesn't simply hurt...

It kills.

EVIE always thought college life would be magical, but so far it's not what she hoped for. Her best friend has gone wild, her love life is void, and she misses her mom more than ever. But life for Evie is about to change. CALVIN KNIGHT, the very object of her fascination, is about to fall madly in love with her. Just one problem: Their love conjures a murderous woman from beyond the grave who wants Evie dead. The same demon who has haunted the Knight men for over four generations.

Soon Calvin is forced to choose: Set Evie free and hope to evade the wrath of The Raven-haired Ghost, or use his newly gifted strengths to fight against her. If he chooses to fight and wins, Calvin will free the Knight men of this demonic witch. If he loses, Evie will become her next victim.

Amazon: $2.99 for ebook
              $10.99 for paperback

I've seen many of you get to this place yourselves. Did you lose your appetite at this point in the game? Check your numbers obsessively? Eat chocolate well into your sleep? Let me know so I can feel normal (even if I'm nowhere near it). And if your novel(s) is available now, post the link(s) below so we can all take a look!

Going Back for Romeo

Okay, so today we're going to talk about the release of this sure-to-be incredible novel, Going Back for Romeo, a Scottish time travel, and the first in a series of Muir Witch Projects.

Here to tell us a bit about the book is L.L. Muir, fantastically talented author of paranormal romance and stand up comedian.

I'll be asking her a few questions, and she'll be answering back like a good little girl (even though she's really a bad girl at heart).  Joke. Not really. Anyway, on we go:

You're amazingly awesome book, GOING BACK FOR ROMEO is available today - as in right now!
Can you tell me a bit about it?

Alone, with a Highlander, in his castle, on a cold dark night...
(Okay, so it wasn’t that cold.)

It's HIGHLANDER meets BRIDGET JONES.

Jillian MacKay is being conned by a pair of eighty-year-old witches. They’re convinced she’s the perfect sucker to test a prophecy and they’re willing to bury her alive to prove it. Once she escapes, and finds herself in 15th Century Scotland, she believes her return home depends on a heroic deed—she must rescue a plaid-clad Romeo and Juliet before tragedy can strike.  The monster standing in her way, however, is a handsome Highlander who might just be her own Romeo...a Romeo she must leave behind.

Rather than surrender his secrets, Montgomery Ross would prefer to go down in history as the heartless creature who betrayed one sister and buried the other alive.  When he falls in love with the prophesied faery who has come to expose him, he'll have to learn a wee lesson from the star-crossed lovers or suffer the fate to which he once condemned them.

Let's be honest: you had me at plaid-clad. Just sayin'.
Anything in particular inspire this super fresh concept?

Like all my novels, a scene popped up on the screen of my brain, and when it was over, I had to come up with all the explanations for the details. It was the scene in the great hall, when Jilly is waiting in line with the other tourists to test the prophecy.

I see. I'll know just the scene you're referring to once I tear through that book. Which reminds me - I know you're selling it for $2.99 (which is awesome, btw), but tell me this:
Is it available on both Kindle and Nook? I'm hoping the answer to this will be YES. Seriously, it better be yes - I'm nook-gal.

Why, yes. Yes, it is.

Okay, so maybe you are a good girl.
How about hooking us up with a few links?

Sweet! Lastly, tell me what your next e-release will be?

Why, that would be the first book in my Young Adult series. It's an Angel love story with an Amish twist. And yes, there's a Scotsman in it. It's called SOMEWHERE OVER THE FREAKING RAINBOW. The chick gets to be the angel in this one.

Have I told you how much I love the name for that one? Golden.

Well, there you have it folks.
Get the book. Read it. And enjoy.

How's the writing coming? Getting close to an e-publish of your own? May as well share it in the comments below.
