Yes, actually! Iíll be doing a few novellas connected to the Sweet Montana Bride Series. The first one, Rough Edges, is about Allie (the Emerson Brothersí cousin). After her divorce, she reconnects with her ex-husbandís old high school friend, Braden Fox. Braden is a carpenter, and though he has always liked Allie, he has hard feelings about Allie picking Terrance over him. Itís called Rough Edges, and it will be about Bradenís ability to smooth out the past.

I have to say, this was  a seriously fun write for me! Grueling at times, yes, but enjoyable all the same. I loved discovering just what made rebellious cowboy, Gavin Emerson, tick. I enjoyed learning about the demons from his past, and writing about how he conquers them in the end. Above that, I absolutely love Jade and her admirable devotion to being a good mother at all costs. Even still, with everything that takes place in Jade's Cowboy Crush, I love their romance most of all!

I want to get a good grip on the attraction right away. Even if there’s a bit of a love-hate thing going on, I like knowing there’s something brewing, an undeniable attraction no matter how maddening the opposite is.

 It was actually Shane who came to me first, and I loved his story: Two older brothers who’d met their wives through this witness protection thing – I loved the expectations that came along with it, and knew I needed to write his story.

I also loved the setting on the ranch. The horses and hard labor, the group meals and gatherings, the camaraderie and the way Shane's family adopts everyone who works there or marries into the family. 

I loved the times when Cassie and Shane went off on walks, rides, or on a picnic. Just the simple things they did to develop their friendship.

26     - What’s Beyond Forks?

This was an addictive little story. I stayed up into the wee hours of the morning reading this book. 

I just couldn't put it down.
