I'm happy to announce my Cobble Creek Small Town Romance Collection!
I really enjoyed discovering the small town of Cobble Creek and the charming folks who live there. The Sheriff's Bride took my emotions by storm as I wrote of Sheriff Trent Lockheart's story and the way Jessie was able to help him heal. Plus, these two had a whole lot of sparks!
Bear the Lumberjack was such a great character as well with a passion for his career and of course Maddie, the woman he's falling in love with. Maddie has a bad past to work out, something that's complicated by her man-hating mother and gunshy sister, but if anyone can prove that there are good men left in the world, Bear Schaefer can. The sparks continue with this couple as well.
And lastly, we have Anthony Marino, the handsome owner of Tony's Diner who rocks a man bun like Bandarez, according to Kira. In this story, Kira feels she has a lot to prove, and I loved discovering what that journey looked like for her. Anthony has to let go of his own fears in order to help her grow, which was far from easy after all that he's been through. This one, too, as plenty of romantic sparks!
I hope you'll enjoy these three romances as much as I enjoyed writing them.
Enjoy three small-town romance novels set in the lovely town of Cobble Creek.
The Sheriff's Bride: Trent Lockheart might be the new sheriff in town, but he can’t stop Jessie Jean from stealing his heart.
Sheriff Trent Lockheart knew he’d be in for a challenge when he moved from the big city and a large police force to the small Wyoming town of Cobble Creek. But at least he’d be able to stick to his bachelor ways without temptation. So he thought. Cobble Creek isn’t overflowing with young, single ladies, but Jessie Jean—the gorgeous brunette who runs the Country Quilt Inn—proves more tempting than any woman he’s known.
Jessie doesn’t care much for the new sheriff in town. After an explosive first meeting that almost ends in Jessie’s arrest, she’s even more determined to plan on dinner for one for the rest of her life. Sure, the new sheriff is seriously attractive, and after a second, much less dangerous run-in, he might not be that bad, but Jessie has no plan to marry, date, or even let a man into her life. Still, as the days pass, Trent’s surprising charm works past Jessie’s determination, and she finds promise in their budding relationship.
After opening up about the difficulties in her past, Jessie finds that Trent is guarding a dark tragedy of his own, one that might threaten their chance at a future together.
The Lumberjack's Yuletide Bride: Maddie Collins, first-grade teacher at Cobble Creek Elementary, is not a man-hater. Sure, her absent father gave men a bad name, and her mother always warned her that high hopes were dangerous things, but Maddie still hopes to find a man who’ll return the love she has to offer. When lumberjack, Bear Schaefer takes an interest in her, Maddie allows her hopes to soar above the treetops.
Bear Schaefer, aka poster boy for Big Daddy Mills, has been dying to get back to Cobble Creek. As part owner and operator of an environmentally proactive logging company, he has a list of things vying for his attention. But none are quite so alluring as the lovely Maddie Collins. Date after date their connection grows deeper while the sparks grow hotter. Yet just as things become serious between them, a vengeful woman from Bear’s past threatens to tear them apart. With Maddie’s hopes for love so high, and Bear’s love so deep, a fall would be more devastating than a forest fire.
The Snapshot Bride: Love is in the air in Cobble Creek—for everyone but Anthony Marino. Month after month the owner of Tony’s Diner watches happy couples stroll through that bell-chiming door, and he can’t help but wonder if it will ever be him. The winds shift drastically in his favor when Kira Moretti rings that very same bell. During a childhood visit to Cobble Creek, the outgoing girl pegged him with his first kiss. When she sets those brown eyes on him years later, he’s pleased to find the feelings are still there. But is Kira here to stay, or does she—like the other women in Anthony’s past—have her eyes set on a different life?
It’s no surprise that Kira Moretti has an imperfect past that soiled the family name. So when Grandpa Moretti leaves his Cobble Creek photography studio to her in his will, Kira’s determined to prove herself worthy. Cobble Creek is just as charming as she remembered, and even better—so is the handsome guy from Tony’s Diner. Chemistry between them sparks fast, and soon Kira’s certain she’s right where she needs to be. But when someone from her past shows, offering long-sought redemption, Kira has to make a choice. Stay with the man she’s just fallen in love with, or take the offer and risk losing him forever.
